Organisations presenting a Biblical view of origins

  • Answers in Genesis seeks to help the church "uphold the authority of the Bible from the very first verse". It is a US-based organisation with an informative and generally helpful web site. It publishes Answers, a quarterly magazine, that refutes evolution.
  • Creation Ministries International publishes Creation, a bi-monthly magazine, and a more in-depth Journal of Creation. It has a mainly Australian outlook.
  • Biblical Creation Society is another society that advances and defends the Biblical teaching on creation. The BCS journal is called Origins, which is published twice a year. This has more of a British focus.

Other helpful Christian sites

  • Grace Magazine is a monthly magazine that aims to be relevant and stimulating for "ordinary", thinking Christians. Although it mainly serves the Grace Baptist churches in the UK, the magazine also circulates to other like-minded churches here and overseas.
  • The Christian Institute exists to promote the Christian faith in the UK, and to advance Biblical thinking in society. Its campaigns involve research and publishing as well as briefing policy-makers, politicians and the media.
  • Affinity (formerly the British Evangelical Council) is a grouping of evangelical churches in Britain, to which the church is affiliated.
  • Several of our young people have enjoyed outdoor camps in Wales organised by Christian Camps in Wales.
  • GraceNet UK provides a single point of access to a wide variety of Reformed resources, including a directory of UK churches and organisations.
  • The Banner of Truth Trust seeks to publish good historic Christian literature particularly of the Reformation and Puritan eras, as well as contemporary authors.  It also has a book fund designed to send English literature to ministers and missionaries around the world.
  • The Evangelical Library in the West End of London contains a collection of Christian books ranging from the 17th Century to the present day.
  • Several of our members subscribe to the Evangelical Times. This is a monthly newspaper containing Biblical teaching, articles about church history, and reviews of current religious trends. It is also a useful source of news about missionaries and church-related issues.
