We have tried, starting from here, to explain the message of the Bible, without becoming too technical, and without assuming that you know too much to start with. We've summarized the key points below, but leave you to decide which areas you want to explore further. We cannot always go into the depth we would like, so we also try to point you to helpful books and other resources.

Forest ©FreeFoto.com The Bible(1) tells us that God created a perfect universe. But, because man sinned, we are now under a curse. All people are subject to God's judgement and are destined for hell. However, God has provided a way of escape; Jesus Christ died in the place of his people. If anyone turns away from his sins and trusts in Christ he will escape from this punishment and live with joy for ever in heaven.
