Grace Baptist Assembly 2003 met at Child's Hill Baptist Church on Friday 16th and Saturday
17th May 2003.
The main speakers were (information correct in 2003):
- Robert Oliver, a native of Kent, now serves as co-pastor, with his son Paul, at Bradford-on-Avon. He has
studied and taught history. His PhD (1987) through London Bible
College, researched early Strict Baptist history. Since 1989 he has lectured in Church History at the London Theological Seminary. He is married to Rachel, with a daughter and son.
Robert contributes to a number of Christian journals and has lectured in Malaysia and Romania.
- Martin Leech was formerly an environmental scientist. After training with Welwyn Evangelical Church he moved to Suffolk in 1998. He is now the
pastor of Mendlesham Green Baptist Church. He and his wife Penny have two
children.
- Tim Curnow is a Cornishman by birth, and now pastors the Cardiff West Grace Baptist Church. He is managing editor of
Grace Magazine and Grace Publications Trust.
- David Ellis has served churches in Eire, France and Sussex. He is now pastor of Bethesda Baptist Church in Stowmarket.
- Malcolm MacGregor is a graduate in Art & Design. He was a pastor in Accrington for 23 years and now
pastors in Ipswich.
- Phil Arthur holds a degree in History from Cambridge. He is now pastor of Free Grace Baptist Church in Lancaster.
